Short Story

RAW Urban Photography" community projects were inspired by a group of students, who started doing local outreaches to beggars standing at traffic lights.  Outreaches were accompanied by handing out food parcels and by giving beggars lifts to Sunday church meetings.

Most of the time these beggars were overwhelmed by the hospitality of strangers at church and the generous giving of food and non-judgmental fellowship.  After getting to know some of these street people, the group of students initiated mini church services at shelters for homeless people with the result that some individuals got motivated to the point of changing their life around by getting jobs and having a normal life again.

With this website we hope to document the living conditions that depressed, weak and needy individuals find themselves in.  These photos, taken by our students, will be posted on this website and our Facebook page.  We give amateur photographers the opportunity to learn photography in a fun way.  Urban photography glorifying the Creator is what this website is about!

Hope you will join us on our journey?  Bring those cameras and start shooting,

if you have the courage!
